Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union proudly announces the appointment of Allen P. DeLeon, CPA, PC as Board Chairman and Anthony Spearman-Leach as Board Treasurer. Both have served on the Credit Union’s Board of Directors for more than seven years in various roles.

“We are honored to have Allen and Tony serve as Chair and Treasurer on our Board of Directors,” said Tami Schiavone, President and CEO of Mid-Atlantic FCU. “They bring both professional expertise, and a deep commitment to our Montgomery County community. Their leadership will ensure continuity as we strive to fulfill our purpose of helping members move their financial lives forward.”

Allen is Chief Executive Officer of DeLeon & Stang, a Washington, DC–based accounting and consulting firm serving credit unions and nonprofit organizations. He also lends his leadership to several community boards, including service as a member of the Holy Cross Health Foundation Board, Treasurer of the Montgomery College Life Sciences Park Foundation, Inc., and past Chairman of the Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce.

Anthony is Director of Business Development and Philanthropy at the National Academy of Public Administration. He also serves as a Board Director for the Montgomery College Pinkney Innovation Complex for Science and Technology and as a Board Director for Leadership Montgomery.
