Aim to Improve Efficiency of Financial Services for Area Businesses
Germantown – To complement its existing Business Checking services, on September 1, 2015, Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union (MAFCU) launched four brand new checking account programs to match the ever-changing needs of area businesses. MAFCU's new Commercial, Analysis, Professional, and Non-Profit Checking account programs meet the needs of businesses based on their transactional behaviors and helps business members improve their operating efficiencies.
"At MAFCU, our goal is to help our local economy grow through innovation and access to capital," states MAFCU CEO Andrew Russell. "By providing our business members with specialized checking services designed with the financial behaviors of their business in mind, we aim to create value, and help them improve their operating efficiencies. MAFCU's new checking accounts programs are designed to meet the unique needs of any business, from smaller professional firms and nonprofits to those businesses with mid-to-high transaction volumes. "At MAFCU, we understand that some firms (or industries) have complex financial and operational challenges that can't be met by generic banking solutions. We have created the Professional Service account designed specifically for CPAs, Healthcare practices and Attorneys," said Senior Vice President of Middle Market Relationships, Terrell Taylor. Also included in the new suite of checking account programs is the Nonprofit Account. This interest bearing account offers nonprofit members a special program that enables the organization to raise money or supplement their fundraising efforts on an on-going basis.
