Happy Holidays and a Wonderful New Year
December 24, 2015
Dear teammates, members, and Montgomery County residents,
It is once again the time of year when we pause from our busy lives and work schedules to celebrate the festive season with our families and friends. It is also a time when we reflect on the past year to assess whether we have realized the objectives and resolutions that we set for ourselves when we celebrated the dawn of the New Year.
When we think of Christmas, our hearts turn to our families. Let our hearts also encompass our members, as well as families in Montgomery County, the state of Maryland, and the entire nation. It is a time of sharing, of reaching across the artificial divides in our society of race, religion, political beliefs, and social status.
In this season of goodwill, let us also open our hearts to those who suffered personal and financial losses from the hardships of a stressed economy. We must always reach out to our less fortunate with our love and compassion at all times, but more so during the holiday season. These are values that made this country great, and they will continue to be the same values that will guide us well into the future.
Let us not lose confidence in our ability to overcome the many difficulties that we face today. Looking into the days and months ahead, I am confident that the MAFCU team will collaborate, contribute, and engage in a value creation manner that will positively impact the lives of our members, and the growth of our organization. Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union can and will be a stronger, and more prosperous one in the years ahead. I want to personally, wish all teammates and members a memorable Merry Christmas and New Year's celebration.
