$1 Million Set Aside for Micro Lending

August 4, 2015

Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union (MAFCU) has set aside $1 million dollars to help the small business community in Montgomery County. This will provide much needed capital to start, sustain and grow their businesses. Small businesses support our local economy, as they succeed there is a ripple effect on the local community – jobs are created and communities are strengthened. MAFCU wants to make an important connection between local small businesses within Montgomery County and the people that they serve. Without the small business community and strong minds of entrepreneurs, Montgomery County would not be able to offer some of its unique features. At MAFCU, we're committed to helping aspiring entrepreneurs, women, minorities and veterans with small businesses grow and thrive.
